New Year's Eve Make Up Look

Eyes (Part 1)
I decided to do my eyes first as I wanted to be able to clean up any fallout from dark shadows and glitter. I primed my eyes using Australis Eyeshadow Primer. I applied NYX Love in Paris shade 1 all over my lid, 3 in my crease and the corner of my eyes and 6 also in the corner of my eyes. I then blended it all together. Using my NYX Glam Shadow Stick I covered three quarters of my lid and blended it well. Then I took shade 3 in the crease and corner again and blended. With my L'Oreal Paris SuperLiner Perfect Slim I drew a cat eye. I applied my Ardell 120 Demi Black Lashes using my Ardell Lashgrip Adhesive. I then used Maybelline Lash Sensational to combine my lashes.

Face
After cleaning up the fallout, I applied my foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer and blush (described in detail in my Festive Make Up Look). I filled in my brows using Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil and set them with Maybelline Brow Drama. Using shade 4 from NYX Love in Paris Eye Shadow Palette I highlighted my brow bones.

Eyes (Part 2)
Once I finished my face and my under eye area was complete, I took shade 6 along my lower lash line from the outer corner to just in line with my pupil using a shader brush. From the inner corner I used my NYX Glam Shadow Stick and joined it with shade 6. I used shade 4 in my inner corner.

Lips
I kept it simple for my lips, as I wanted the main focus to be my eyes and light colours aren't as obvious if they wear away during your New Year's party. I lined and filled in my  lips using Rimmel 1000 Kisses Stay On Lip Liner to make them last and to make my lips less pink toned. I then applied Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick in 38. I love the colour combination these two products make! Taking shade 4 again, I highlighted my cupid's bow.

Hopefully this look has given you some inspiration for your countdown to 2016! What's your go-to New Year's Eve look?
