Hello to Highlighting
I have a confession to make... until recently I had never used highlighter before. In my defence, there are so many highlighters in this world that I didn't know where to begin. I did some research and read some reviews (as I always do before purchasing something new) and decided on Makeup Revolution's Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights. I also picked up the Setting Brush from Real Techniques. Here are some thoughts:

Lush: Rub Rub Rub | Review
Oh Lush, you certainly do have my heart. There's nothing I enjoy more than a luxurious Lush product. They always feel like such a treat to use! Rub Rub Rub is the first scrub that I have used from Lush. I received it as a birthday gift back in April from my wonderful mum. Today I am finally reviewing it for you!

We are well and truly into Spring, in fact, it's almost Summer! In light of the nicer weather, that is hopefully on it's way, I purchased a few new Essie polishes. These two colours are perfect for warmer months! Here is what I picked up:

Latest Beauty Steals
I think we can all agree that there is nothing better than a bargain. Today I'm going to share with you two products that I recently purchased. Big Bucket Deals had a pop up store in Wellington last week and over the weekend, so clearly I had to take advantage of the prices.

St. Ives: Green Tea Scrub | Review
Scrubs are so important for your skin and today I thought I'd share a product I added to my skincare routine a few months ago. As I was researching for this post I discovered that St. Ives have rebranded and re-released this scrub. I am unsure whether the formula is the same, but I thought I'd share my findings on St. Ives' Blackhead Clearing Scrub anyway!

L'Oreal Paris: True Match Foundation | Review
Finding the perfect foundation is something I've struggled with since I first started wearing make up. It's not something I wear every day, generally only when my skin is having a bad day, I feel like making my complexion more even or I'm doing a full face of make up. As a pale person with yellow undertones, I find it difficult to find a foundation that matches my skin without being too orange, too pink or too dark. L'Oreal Paris' True Match Foundation has a wide range of shades so I decided to give it a go!

Maybelline: Instant Age Rewind Concealer | Review
Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer is a product I have wanted to try for so long! But whenever I went to the drugstore it was always sold out or the wrong shade was in stock. I've finally managed to get my hands on it and here are my thoughts:

Maybelline: Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser | Review
Maybelline's Baby Skin Pore Eraser is a product I've heard a lot about. Having never used a face primer before (I know, so bad of me!), I was keen to try it out. Here are my thoughts:

How I Clean My Make Up Brushes
Keeping your make up brushes clean should be an important part of your beauty routine. Sometimes it can feel like a chore, but bacteria can build up in your brushes and have a negative effect on your skin. Everyone has different techniques when it comes to cleaning their brushes. Today I thought I'd share mine!

Rimmel: Lasting Finish Kate Moss Nude Collection Lipstick | Review & Swatches
Now I was definitely late to the game when it came to the release of Rimmel's Kate Moss Nude Collection. However, I managed to purchase 045 during Priceline's post Christmas sales. I also swatched 042 when I was in store, but decided upon 045 as I felt that it suited my skin tone and style better.

Lush: The Kiss Lip Scrub | Review

If there's one thing I've learned from living in Wellington it's that this environment does no favours for my skin, particularly my lips. When my mum was leaving to go back to Australia, she very kindly offered to buy me something from Lush. I decided upon 'The Kiss' Lip Scrub. I'd never used a lip scrub before and felt that it was exactly what my lips needed in windy Wellington.

Essence: In the Nude | Review & Swatches
Back in October I reviewed Essence's lip liners, however I hadn't been able to get my hands on the shade 'In the Nude'. I finally managed to grab it during Priceline's Pink Dot Sale (haul here) and am so excited to have it in my collection.

Drugstore Beauty Haul
In my last post I shared the clothing items I bought during the sales. Today I'm sharing what I purchased during Priceline's Pink Dot Sale. I had prepared for this sale for a few days prior (making lists of products I wanted to try and the colours I wanted to test). I bought items online if I didn't need to see the colours or had used the product in the past. I went in store for swatching colours or if the item had been sold out online. Here is what I got!

New Year's Eve Make Up Look
New Year's Eve is all about the glam so I wanted to design a look that was big, smokey and full of lashes and sparkle.
