Lush: Rub Rub Rub | Review

Lush Rub Rub Rub

Oh Lush, you certainly do have my heart. There's nothing I enjoy more than a luxurious Lush product. They always feel like such a treat to use! Rub Rub Rub is the first scrub that I have used from Lush. I received it as a birthday gift back in April from my wonderful mum. Today I am finally reviewing it for you!

How I Use Scrubs

I apply scrubs BEFORE I get in the shower. This way I feel that I get the full exfoliating benefit of the product, instead of it just melting away as soon as the water hits. I use scrubs on my entire legs, the back of my upper arms and elbows, as I feel these are the areas that I need the most exfoliation. I wash and gently exfoliate under the water. Afterwards I apply moisturiser, taking care to cover the areas I just scrubbed. I generally try to use a scrub once a week.

Rub Rub Rub

For those of you who have followed my blog for a while, you will know I am not one for sickly sweetness, I always veer towards fresh scents. This scrub is perfect for me! It's key notes are sea salt, citrus and jasmine.

It is super easy to apply and use. It has quite a flowy formula, which makes it easier to move against your skin. Other scrubs I have used are very grainy and just fall away as I try to apply them. It washes away well after use, leaving no gritty residue.

After using, your skin feels smooth, calmed and rejuvenated! My skin can be sensitive at times, and this is a wonderful product for those who can have reactions to skin products. As an added bonus, Rub Rub Rub contains sea salt which is a natural antiseptic. Perfect if you have any cuts, grazes or recovering ingrown hairs! It also has so many other good ingredients packed inside.

I cannot recommend this scrub enough. If you're a fan of Lush and haven't tried it yet, put this on your wishlist! Rub Rub Rub is available at Lush for $14.95 for 330g or $29.95 for 650g.
