L'Oreal Paris: True Match Foundation | Review

L'Oreal Paris: True Match Foundation

Finding the perfect foundation is something I've struggled with since I first started wearing make up. It's not something I wear every day, generally only when my skin is having a bad day, I feel like making my complexion more even or I'm doing a full face of make up. As a pale person with yellow undertones, I find it difficult to find a foundation that matches my skin without being too orange, too pink or too dark. L'Oreal Paris' True Match Foundation has a wide range of shades so I decided to give it a go!
I purchased the shade '1.D/1.W Golden Ivory'. It perfectly matches my skin tone and makes it look as though I'm not wearing foundation, while still covering my blemishes and improving my complexion. One pump easily provides coverage for my entire face. It is easy to apply but can be slightly streaky. However, after a few minutes it settles on your skin leaving a natural finish. True Match lasts all day, without fading and only minimal loss of colour around my mouth and nose where I touch my face. I have worn it with and without a primer. It was easier to blend without a primer, but lasted longer on my skin with one.

Overall I am happy with this foundation. The colour is perfect and it sits on my skin well, but I wish it was easier to blend. Is it the one? Unfortunately not and I'll keep searching, but I'm happy for now!

Have you tried True Match Foundation before?
