Maybelline: Illegal Length Mascara | Review

Maybelline is my go-to for mascara and today I'm sharing a product I've been loving all year. Their Illegal Length mascara has found its way into regular rotation in my make up routine.
This mascara gives me what I like to call "flirty" lashes. Think cartoon character eyes and Lola Bunny batting her eyelashes - that's how I feel. As soon as I apply it I notice an immediate change in the brightness and openness of my eyes. 

Illegal Length (as the name suggests) is perfect for increasing length. It uses fibre extensions, allowing you to build the reach of your lashes. If you're a gal who looks for volume in your mascara, this probably won't take your fancy. While it gives decent volume, it is definitely purpose made for lengthening.

One thing I love about this mascara is how natural it looks! It's a great everyday mascara. I often wear it when I'm having a minimal make up day as it gives you that "no make up" make up look. This mascara also featured in my Soft Pink Make Up Look! 

Illegal Length is super easy to remove, which is a nice little time saver. That being said, it absolutely is a long wearing mascara. I can wear it all day without worrying about it flaking off. 

There is also a waterproof version, which I have not tested. The non-waterproof is not immune to streaming eyes. Now that it's hay fever season I may have to invest in the waterproof edition to avoid run off.

This has quickly become my favourite mascara. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for an affordable, lengthening mascara. Get those Lola Bunny lashes!
