Essence: In the Nude | Review & Swatches

Back in October I reviewed Essence's lip liners, however I hadn't been able to get my hands on the shade 'In the Nude'. I finally managed to grab it during Priceline's Pink Dot Sale (haul here) and am so excited to have it in my collection.

Left: Bare Lips
Right: In the Nude

As I said in my previous review, these lip liners apply smoothy and are creamy. They are extremely easy to use and perfect for beginners. The point of the pencil is a great size for precise application. The liners are very pigmented. When I first tested these I found that the darker colours brought out dry patches in my lips, but felt that the lighter colours were fine. I'm unsure if my lips were in worse condition at the time I tested 'In the Nude', but I did feel that it really emphasised those cracks and dry skin.

I love the colour of 'In the Nude'. It's the perfect 90s nude shade, with a peachy undertone, which is exactly what I felt was missing from my collection of Essence lip Liners. If you're still searching for your perfect nude liner, give this one a go!

Essence lip liners are available at Priceline for $2.00 (AUD).
